 Prime Rib Roast 3 - Herb Rub 10-12 pound prime rib roast preheat over to 325 degrees cook for 2 hr 30 min or until temp reaches 120 degrees F (see note below)
Ingredients:8 cloves garlic minced 1/2 cup fresh rosemary, minced 1/2 cup fresh parsley, minced 1/4 cup fresh thyme, minced 2 Tbs kosher salt 1 Tbs black pepper 3 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
Directions:1. In a small bowl, combine garlic, rosemary, parsley, thyme, kosher salt and black pepper. 2. Place meat (of your choosing) in roasting pan. Coat the meat with olive oil, then apply herb rub all over. Cover and let rest on counter to bring to room temperature, about 15 minutes per pound. 3. Cook roast to desired temperature. Roast until the internal temperature reaches 120 degrees F for medium-rare, about 2 1/2 hours. Then allow to rest for 10 minutes before carving
