Bananas and Red Currant Foster Ingredients 2 oz. Butter 3 oz. Brown Sugar 1 Banana, sliced 2 oz. Red Currants, soaked Juice of 1/2 Lemon Juice of 1/2 Orange 1/2 oz. Banana Liqueur 1/2 oz. Cointreau 1/2 t. Maine-ly Drizzle Cinnamon 8 oz. Vanilla Ice Cream Melt butter in pan and add brown sugar. Cook 2-4 minutes, stirring constantly. Add lemon and orange juice while stirring and bring to simmer. Slice bananas and add to sauce. Cook for 1 minutes or until bananas are hot, then add soaked currants. Add banana liqueur and Cointreau, then flame. Add cinnamon and serve over Ice cream with maple balsamic reduction and whipped cream (if desired; recipe within site).
