This beautiful, award-winning extra virgin olive oil is made from Bianocolilla olives, also known as Biancuzza, a varietal that grows in the area of central-eastern Sicily. Our Biancolilla extra virgin has been produced on one of the most prestigious estates in Italy, surrounded by twisted olive trees planted up to 2,000 years ago. Buttery smooth and bold, our Biancolilla extra virgin olive oil is equally as delicious as a finishing oil as it is in vinaigrettes. Drizzle it by itself over steamed or roasted vegetables, pastas and other grain dishes to add creamy complexity and full flavor. Its complex flavor profile means it will also stand up to crusty artisan breads or focaccia when bread-dipping. As a vinaigrette, pair our Biancolilla Reserve with our Lavender, Tangerine or Traditional Balsamic vinegars and dress salads with dark, bitter greens, summer tomatoes, shredded cabbage, sliced avocado and goat cheese.
