Our handcrafted Sticky Date Candied Orange Chutney starts with our fresh homemade candied oranges simmered with sticky dates, cider vinegar and finishes with a bit of warm and tingly spice.  This delicious date chutney is reminiscent of spiced fruit cake at Christmas so it is just perfect for holiday entertaining.  It's the newest addition to our cheese pairing collection of jam spreads and chutneys, well suited for a variety of cheese from cheddar to gouda to alpine style to blue cheese.  This rich date and orange chutney is the perfect accompaniment to Easter ham, duck, chicken and pork and can be used as a glaze or served on the side.  The rich dates with fragrant spices and orange in this chutney is well suited to accompany Moroccan style dishes like couscous and lamb tagines.  Customers also claim that they love it just swirled into their morning yogurt!
